Get Involved! Join the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) in Earth Day 2025 Celebrations
We are nearly one week away from celebrating Earth Day 2025!
Since the holiday’s inception more than 50 years ago, Earth Day has signified a global effort to support initiatives that protect the planet. In the United States alone, Earth Day — and the cause surrounding it — has empowered citizens and policymakers alike to strive toward a greener future throughout the years, including the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1970 and passage of several other environmental laws.
To date, the movement has garnered 150,000-plus partners across 192 countries, according to EARTHDAY.org.
At the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF), we recognize that Earth Day encompasses much more than just a single date on the calendar each year.
Woven into NEIF’s mission is the goal of making energy efficiency — or going ‘Greener’ — an affordable reality for home and business owners across the country. To achieve this, NEIF collaborates with utilities, state and local governments, green banks, ethically-driven contractors, and other partners to develop financing programs — ones that incentivize upgrading the efficiency, comfort, health, and safety of homes and buildings.
By ‘Going Greener, Affordably’ with NEIF financing, customers can invest both in themselves — fostering a safe environment for their, their businesses, etc. — and the planet without breaking the bank.
Small Actions, Big Impact
As the nation’s only Certified B Corporation™ that specializes in energy efficiency lending, the NEIF team believes in leading by example — because even the smallest actions can make big impacts on both people and the planet.
Leading up to Earth Day 2025, NEIF is encouraging both its team members and stakeholders — Approved Contractors, customers, program partners — to make small (yet informed), everyday actions to drive large-scale positive change.
