Jensen Handwork to Expand Program Offerings and Partnerships for Certified B Corp™ Energy Efficiency and Electrification Lender, National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF)

NEIF industry professional will develop key relationships with energy efficiency and electrification program partners and strategies to expand NEIF’s residential, commercial, and rebate advance offerings.

The National Energy Improvement Fund, LLC (NEIF), a Certified B Corp™ energy efficiency and electrification improvement lender, is excited to announce that Jensen Handwork has transitioned into the role of Senior Director of Program Development. In his new position, reporting to Matthew H. Brown, NEIF’s Co-Chair and Managing Member, Handwork will be responsible for maintaining industry-leading knowledge of energy efficiency finance and electrification programs to further develop key relationships and partnerships for NEIF’s residential, commercial, and rebate offerings. He will be expanding NEIF’s relationships with the nation’s many new and established green banks, energy utilities, and other strategic industry partners.

Previously, Handwork served as NEIF’s Senior Director of Commercial Programs and Training, where he led NEIF’s commercial lending operations, managed engagement with prospective and existing commercial program partners, implemented commercial contractor training and education, and helped manage business development activities. Before NEIF, Handwork served as a Water & Energy Associate for Harcourt Brown & Carey (HB&C), advising nascent green banks such as the DC Green Bank and performing gap analyses for state energy offices. Handwork’s tenure with NEIF and his in-depth understanding of the organization’s current offerings, capabilities, and positioning in the energy efficiency and electrification industry, uniquely qualify him in his new role. He will be working with executive management to create and identify appropriate strategies to expand NEIF’s programs and partners in the industry.

Handwork holds two degrees from the University of Puget Sound, including a BA of International Political Economy and a BA of Business Administration.
