The National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) Celebrates the 2024 Solar Eclipse
The National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) thinks its team members are out of this world — so it was only fitting to create and distribute festive goodie bags in preparation for the 2024 solar eclipse.
NEIF staff members in the Allentown, Colorado, and remote offices alike received eclipse survival packs, complete with protective glasses, a viewing schedule, and other space-themed treats (including Sun Chips, Orbit gum, Moon Pies, a Milky Way candy bar, and Starburst).
On Monday, April 8, the Allentown in-office crew was encouraged to take a brief pause from work and head outside around 3:00 p.m. EDT. The partial eclipse was set to begin around 2:00 p.m. and reach totality at 3:23 p.m. EDT.
While cloudy conditions dampened the view, camaraderie and excitement around the phenomena didn’t waver. The NEIF team wasn’t the only group gathering around the office building in Allentown; teams from various office suites were similarly seen outside, peering up at the sky in hopes of catching even just a small glimpse of the eclipse in between thick sheets of clouds.
The opportunity to experience a unique moment in history together, as a team, certainly made for an unforgettable afternoon!
