National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) Teams Up With Local Non-Profit, Joyful Giving, to Give Back for the Holidays
“Give Joy, Get Joy” — this mission remains central to Joyful Giving: a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating out of Allentown, PA.
To kick off the holiday season, team members at the National Energy Improvement Fund (NEIF) partnered up with Joyful Giving to assemble Joy Maker bags at the Allentown headquarters on Thursday, November 30.
Founder Hannah Votta Coleman began a gift box company out of her home in 2017 before launching Joyful Giving in 2022, where her focus shifted to “gifting” essential items to those in need. Since then, Votta Coleman and her organization’s impact has spread throughout the surrounding Lehigh Valley community and beyond (most recently reaching international communities!) to get hygiene products, lip balm, socks, small toys, and other self-care items in the hands of those who need it most.
And the sweetest part? The signature item included in most Joy Maker bags is a piece of chocolate!
Although these bags are filled with essentials, their true intent is to look and feel like a gift.
The NEIF office enjoyed an afternoon of teamwork, good company, and pride knowing that the 200 bags they put together will be donated and put to good use. This is now the second holiday season that NEIF has welcomed Votta Coleman and Joyful Giving into its doors and provided staff members with the opportunity to make a positive impact in their local community.
As a Certified B Corp, NEIF feels strongly about using the power of business to do good, and to make meaningful strides to improve the greater environment, society, etc.
